Even though it's a definite tourist trap, Robbie's of Islamorada is a fun stop on your way along the Oversees Highway in the Keys. You have to wind your car around coconut trees to park it in the lot! Then you walk amongst little market stalls under the shade of many trees. It's very pleasant. There is some nice jewelry and other souvenirs at the stands, including some toys for kids that will make your drive go by faster. You have to pay to enter the marina area- yes, this is a tourist trap. There you can feed tarpon for $3 and rent kayaks or reserve boat trips. We had already watched the tarpon for free at Islamorada Fish Company pier, so we skipped it.[continued...]

It is on the right as you head south immediately after a bridge, at Mile Marker 77.5. There is plenty of parking amongst coconut trees!
