Beaver Creek Lake Walkway, Apex, North Carolina NC

Description

Beaver Creek Lake looks pretty, glistening below the bright green leaves of trees. You can walk along the lake on a paved walkway, in front of the Haddon Hall townhouses. There are flowerbeds, spherical manicured bushes, and bird houses to admire. Ducks swim in the lake, and little bridges go over the water. At the Apex Peakway end of the walkway there are pine trees and pine cones littered on the ground.
Beaver Creek Lake Walkway is a pleasant spot to enjoy sunshine, a cool breeze, and expansive views of the town below.
It is a one mile walk one way. The beginning of the walkway is at 1112 Blackburn Road. In the middle you must walk to the left on Haywards Heath Lane for a little while. Then join the paved path again at Beaver Creek Lake, until it ends at Apex Parkway.
After, grab a cup of tea or coffee at Panera Bread in Beaver Creek Commons.
For a more shady, forest walk, try Shepherd's Vineyard Greenway.
For more blue water, check out Seaforth Beach on Jordan Lake. a seventeen minute drive west.
