The Bluffs seaview walk

It's wonderful to walk high above the sea! You can do this with a stroller because there is a wide paved path that was created as part of The Bluffs housing development. Walk opposite boxy mansions on a path that hugs the cliff. Across the water is the headland above Pirate's Cove, the nudist beach. There are native trees and flowers everywhere.
If you need a happening place to eat, check out nearby Pismo town and pier, or Avila Beach.

Exit Highway 101 at Avila Beach Drive and then immediately turn left onto Shell beach Rd (which is right next to the freeway onramp). Turn right on El Portal Drive and follow it to the end. Turn right on Indio Dr and park in the public parking on your left. The path begins there.
The only way to get to this area is via Shell Beach Rd.
This is an interactive map, you can zoom and move it.

|Nice, short walk on well-maintained path. Very little shade this time of year, but worth it anyway. Great for families. Many moms with jogging strollers. Beautiful views.|
