Loop Trail / Boardwalk, Indian Riverside Park

Within Indian Riverside Park in Jensen Beach is the loop trail and river boardwalk, a popular walking path for local residents. This area is appealing because it has some topography, a few little hills, which you start to crave when you're in Florida. On the river boardwalk you see things slightly from above sometimes. And the Tuckahoe Mansion sits high up on a green manicured hill. Also the pathway near the road leads around a lake and down a hill in a winding, pretty shape.
Many residents from the nearby retirement residences like to take this walk in the morning. The river boardwalk is the nicest part- you walk beside leaning cabbage palms looking out on the huge expanse of water that is the Indian River Lagoon. There are little curved "beaches" on the river.
The entire walk is lovely, with some shade along the way. You can also see the kids playing happily in the white sand by the pier at Indian Riverside Park.
You can rent Tuckahoe Mansion for weddings- a gorgeous spot on the water! And there is an amphitheater with terraced seating beside it.
