Guerneville, Wine Country/Santa Rosa California

Description

Guerneville town is a charming town along River Road. Walk around the little shops with their earth-conscious goods or check out one of the many restaurants, such as Stumptown Brewery, right on the gorgeous river surrounded by trees.
From the town, you can walk to Johnson's Beach on the peaceful Russian River below the historic Guerneville Bridge, or drive a few minutes to Armstrong Woods, an amazing redwood forest with an easy short walk.
For some kiddie fun in the summertime, check out the historical Pee Wee Minigolf, located in a pretty location with colorful, creative holes. A lot of fun!
For a more adventurous day, rent canoes or bring a tube and float down the incredibly beautiful Russian River past hills covered in champagne vineyards and mountains brimming with redwoods.
