Sea Life Park is a private adventure park with dolphin shows, seal shows, turtles exhibits, and giant tanks full of sharks and fish. But it costs an arm and a leg to visit. Still, if you are going to spend money on something, I'd spend it on this! Hawaii residents can get an awesome annual pass.

Sea Life Park is a wonderful place to take kids of all ages. Toddlers love to stand up against the enormous tank at the entrance and stare in at the fish. There is a sandy playground that is a huge sailing ship where kids can climb to their hearts content safely roped in by criss-cross rope on all openings. Older kids will enjoy the dolphin and seal shows. Kids can even buy some fish and feed the rowdy seals. The outdoor dolphin show overlooking the ocean is a pirate story. The enclosed dolphin show in the large tank is more factual and includes a warm-weather penguin show.
Everything is included in the entry fee, except fish to feed the seals.
The views of the turquoise ocean and Makapuu Beach from Sea Life Park are gorgeous.
On your way back to Waikiki, stop in Hawaii Kai for some nice places to eat.
There is a new wedding chapel at Sea Life Park, for a celebration with beautiful views.
