Skeletons: Museum of Osteology, Orlando FL

Description

Why do we only look at skeletons of dinosaurs? There are so many other interesting skeletons out there! This museum has skeletons of practically every animal you can think of. And some will surprise you. I always thought that more areas of an animal were cartilage, such as a monkey's tail, but it is bone. It is so fascinating to check out what's under the skin of all the different animals. There are human skeletons too.
It takes under an hour to check out the whole museum, but you will feel enriched and educated after. I highly recommend this museum! It is part of Icon Park, so you can walk around past the restaurants, gift shops, and fountains, and admire the amazing Wheel and StarFlyer above you. Have a chocolate shake at Shake Shack!
Other museums here are Sea Life Orlando Aquarium and Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.
