Description
Gulfstream Beach Park is a lovely spot! You walk through jungly coastal hammock to get to the sand. This jungle sets a lovely backdrop as you look around you during your swim. The water is clear and turquoise, and often calm. There is a lifeguard, and plenty of retired people from the nearby condos. Smoking should be illegal at the beach- get with the new millenium, Florida!
In the jungly area is a shower to rinse off, restrooms, and a large fun playground (probably too mosquitoey during the summer half of the year).
This beach is in a cute town. As you drive to the beach you will pass a colorful surf shop called Nomad Surf Shop. Check it out! It is one minute to the north by car.
A seven minute drive north, check out the Schoolhouse Children's Museum.
