Description
Okeeheelee Park is a pleasant place to walk if you are far inland in West Palm Beach. You can walk on paths along the lake, without shade, or in the forest by the nature center, in shade. Keep your eyes out for butterflies and tortoises, which are lovely to see.
People rent paddle boats so it's a fun scene. You can also rent SUP boards, kayaks, and canoes, all from Kayak King Watersports. There is also a water ski complex called Shark Wake Park. This is a very large park that holds events such as fun runs. Okeeheelee Park South also has trails, more rugged and less paved than those of Okeeheelee Park- I haven't tried them yet.
