Apple Farm Restaurant really puts you in the Christmas Spirit! From the minute you enter the driveway, you feel warmed with Christmas cheer! There are delightful lights everywhere! And the building itself is so charming. Little porcelain gingerbread houses are on display. And there is a two-level store with the most amazing Christmas trees and displays! Check out the travel tree that has ornaments representing different cities.
The restaurant has a real chef so the food is good. It is a little pricey but worth it for the Christmas outing. Large windows look out from diner-style seating.
At other times of year, it would be fun to come for breakfast.
Another nice thing to do at Christmastime is visit the plaza in front of the mission, where there is a santa house, lights, and a temporary carousel that goes nice and fast.
Check out also the incredible light display at Cambria Pines Lodge. It costs about $15 per person and you reserve ahead, online, and catch a shuttle from Cambria town.
