Description
Calle Barquero Park is a great find when you stumble upon it! In a large meadow-filled area by a creek and eucalpytus forest, there's a big new playground. A few benches and picnic tables make it a nice place to spend a while. The park is located in a suburban neighborhood. Kids can wonder up the hillsides or just enjoy the two climbing structures.
There are no restrooms.
The play structure can be wet with dew in the morning so come in the afternoon or bring some old towels.
While you're in Goleta, feed the ducks at Lake Los Carneros. Or go on a mini-train ride at South Coast Railroad Museum.

Sarah 07/19/2011 20:40 | We\\\'ve dubbed this park \\\" bumpy slide park\\\" because we rename all our playground areas, very fun, but no bathrooms or shade on the structures or picnic areas. Trees were planted recently so in a few years it will be almost perfect! | |
