Wow, Camarillo Premium Outlets is a shopper's paradise! The prices are great, and you can find any store you could possibly want! It would have been better if they made all the stores in the middle so you could walk the entire mall but that's the only downside. The liveliest area, and best for kids and teens, is the strip of surf and skate shops in The Promenade section. Here there is a Spanish fountain, and room to run around. There are benches and sunken green areas, and palm trees that are gorgeously lit with frost blue lights at night. Johnny Rocket's, a 1950s diner with great outdoor seating, will put you all in good spirits. Sitting out there in the warm, California air will make you glad to be a Californian.

There are three main areas to this huge mall. From Los Posas Rd, when you turn onto Ventura Blvd, you first come to The Promenade. This is the happening area mentioned above. After that you pass a movie theater and then you're at the Main Court, with more great stores. Further along you turn onto Camarillo Center Dr and you reach Fashion Court. Here you can find a Carters store with colorful kids clothing for amazing prices.

For a fun place to take kids to learn about World War II aviation history, head across Las Posas Rd to the aviation museum. For a beautiful park where your kids can let off steam, go to Valle Lindo Park. For some California history, head over to Camarillo Ranch House.

Directions

Exit Highway 101 at Los Posas Rd and go south. Turn left on Ventura Blvd and there are a series of seven entrances to various sections of the mall on your right. The first three entrances on your right take you to The Promenade (recommended). The fourth entrance takes you to the movie theater. The sixth entrance takes you to the Main Court. And the seventh, right on Camarillo Center Dr, and then left on Hughes Dr, and right into the parking lot, takes you into Fashion Court.
