Description
It is heavenly to walk along Ocean Blvd staring at the vibrant blue ocean! A salmon pink wave wall with white trim frames every view of the beach. The festive atmosphere at this popular beach lifts your spirits. This is a busy area so you will be dodging people but if you want a happening walk, this is the one! There are two paths, the sidewalk and the path between the grass and the wave wall, so you can find some space if there are crowds of people. The wave wall begins at Royal Palm Way and ends at Gulfstream Rd, lasting about 800m. You will pass the adorable clocktower where a pier used to exist, at the end of Worth Ave, a ritzy shopping street with Spanish architecture.
To extend your walk, check out the gorgeous side streets such as Brazilian Ave, or once you read Gulfstream Rd walk along the sand on Midtown Beach. If you go south on the beach, don't go too far because you can't get back up on the road again- the only staircase is the one you took to get down! If you head north on the beach, you can get back to the road in many spots. If you get all the way to Clarke Ave Beach, you can explore the side streets near there such as Seabreeze Ave.
