Description
Tequesta County Park has a trail around its perimeter. It makes for a pleasant 1.5km walk! The trail is white sand that is firmly-packed. Wildflowers border the trail and in the north end of the walk, a canopy of tropical trees arches over you. The whole walk is pretty shady! This trail is not used too much so bring a friend. Someone had walked before us so there were no spiderwebs, which was nice, and we followed their footprints and dog paw prints all the way around the loop! After, walk the Jupiter Lighthouse Natural Area trail, or check out Catos Bridge with its clear water below. And then have a coffee at Oceana Coffee or Perk Coffee in Tequesta town, or a juicer at Modern Juice. Or have a beer in the adirondack chairs at glorious Blue Pointe Bar and Grill right on the intracoastal.
